# Crypto Wallets

You can change the wallet using the selector in the Dashboard. After login you will be connected by default to the System Wallet, but you can connect any other wallet you own.

# What is the System wallet?

The System Wallet is the custodial wallet provided with the esRamp. It is based on Gnosis Safe and it's deployed on the Gnosis Network. We automatically found your System Wallet with Gas (xDAI) if you topup your FIAT wallet. The system wallet is the default wallet for minting operation.

# What is the default wallet? How to change the default wallet?

The default walletis the crypto wallet that will receive the money after you send FIAT currency to the esRamp. After the login the default wallet is the system wallet, but you can change the default wallet clicking the set default wallet button after you have selected another wallet from the drop down.

The system will also ask you which is the default network on which you wish to receive the money. If you select 'Gnosis' esRamp will fund your wallet to use it if your balance is zero. On other networks some fees may apply to mint the money at the destination network.

# How to connect an external wallet?

To connect an external wallet, click on the drop-down in the wallet section and you will get the Connect external wallet button. Click it and you will be asked to select the networks in which you want to use the wallet. Follow the instruction to proceed to connect your wallet.

# How to disconnect an external wallet?

To disconnect an external wallet, click on the Networks button, de-select all the networks and click Apply. The wallet will be disconnected. Please remember you can't disconnect the System Wallet or a Default wallet. If you want to disconnect a Default wallet, select another wallet and make it default so you can proceed to disconnet the desidered wallet.
